LISTING IMPOSSIBLE CNBC
THE ASK
Authentic Entertainment approached Bubba’s to create an opening title sequence for their new CNBC series, Listing Impossible. The show follows real estate titan Aaron Kirman and his team as they visit wealthy homeowners in Los Angeles and speak “truth to money” about why a property isn’t selling. They say the things most agents to the wealthy won’t.
The opener needed to capture the series’ essence: bold, direct, and a bit magical. Our challenge was to create a whimsical, VFX-heavy title sequence that sets the tone for a show about transforming high-end Los Angeles properties.
The Process
We dove into the task with a concept centered around the team's ability to magically turn lackluster interiors into stunning, sale-ready homes. Our team meticulously storyboarded and developed a 3D pre-visualization for the opener. This prep work proved invaluable, ensuring a smooth and efficient live-action shoot while also securing early approval from the client and CNBC.
THE DELIVERABLES
The project culminated in a lively, engaging opening title sequence, paired with a comprehensive graphics package. This package also included a versatile map toolkit for in-show use, allowing Authentic Entertainment to maintain a consistent visual style across episodes.
